Weirdly, it only seems to be an issue when the plugin “WP Mail Log” by WPVibes is also active. I can disable that plugin and leave yours active and my customizer works. Or I can disable yours and leave the mail plugin active and it works. But if both are active, the Customizer is broken.
Hi @khag7,
Thank you for contacting us! To investigate this further, kindly send us a support request using the form on our website here, including the System Info. To obtain this information, go to:
1- WordPress Dashboard > Twitter Feed > click on the “Help” button in the upper right corner of the page. This takes you to our Support page.
2- Scroll down to the System Info section.
3- Click the Copy button on the right-hand side of the System Info title.
We ask you to use our form, as the System Info contains other website information and the Access Token for your connection, which we do not suggest posting here.
Thanks! 🙂
Hey, I think you misunderstood. I’m not asking for support, I am reporting to you that your plugin is causing errors. Its not an issue with my configuration, its an issue with your plugin and the version of jQueryUI you’re using.
If I were you, I’d try a fresh WP install, set up your plugin, and set up WP Mail Log, and see if you get any errors in the customizer. Either plugin works on its own, but both together causes some javascript errors.
Hey @khag7,
Thank you for your response. I just tested this on a clean WP install running version 6.0.1, WP Mail Log Version 1.0, and the Twitter plugin Version 2.0.1, and I don’t get any JavaScript error in the customizer or in the front end, both plugins are active and configured.
I’m using jQuery version 3.6.0 which comes included with a default WordPress theme, so this could be something else on your site that is generating these errors. We can gladly assist you further if you share your system info via our support form.
Best regards,
