Latest v 2.5.1 or 2.5.2 turns off WooCommerce Status Meta Box

    The other topic regarding this issue was marked as resolved. It is not resolved for me.

    I updated to v 2.5.2 and the WooCommerce Status Meta Box has still disappeared from the Dashboard. I have tried this on my staging site and also my live site

    Rolling back to v 2.5.0 restores the WooCommerce Status Meta Box in the Dashboard

    – I have version 2.5.0 of Disable Woocommerce Bloat – which from other posts in this forum causes a fatal error if I try to update Woocommerce from version 5.3 to current version 5.6.0.

    – I cant update to version 2.5.1 or 2.5.2 of Disable Woocommerce Bloat because it wipes out the woocommerce meta box from the dashboard.

    Hoping for a fix really soon as I am now stuck and cant update Woocommerce.

    Is there some other setting I need to look at or ?

    Perhaps this 2.5.2 fix only works with woo 5.6 and not woo 5.3 ?

    Please update your WooCommerce to the latest version- 5.6.0.

    Is the WooCommerce Status Meta Box now visible?

    Hi, I found a workaround that seems to work. Firstly disable Disable WooCommerce Bloat plugin and then update WooCommerce to latest version 5.6.0. I found this would stop the update from crashing your website. I then updated Disable WooCommerce Bloat plugin to the latest version and then reenabled it. I did this on a localhost first and then on my live website. Please backup live website before doing any changes just in case things go wrong. The WooCommerce Status Meta Box us now visible on the WordPress Dashboard. I hope it works for you.

    I updated disable woocommerce bloat to ver 2.5.2 and then updated woocommerce second. This seemed to work with no crashing. And my woocommerce status meta box is back where it belongs.
