Latest update stops site from working properly

    Hello,

    I’ve had to deactivate this plugin as unfortunately since the update it’s causing certain pages on my site to stop loading, particularly on mobile.

    Also whenever i enable ‘lazy loading’ it causes areas of my site to load. Any idea on what to do?

    How do I roll the update back to the previous one?

    Hey @bestofbristol

    jQuery should not be loaded asynchronous and the reason why your site doesn’t work on mobile is that there are scripts that rely on jquery to be loaded early.

    I’ve excluded the jquery, so you should activate the plugin and everything should be working.

    Hi Stanimir do you mean deferred loading of js files? So the latest version excludes deferred loading of jquery file?

    @vs2020 Yes.

    By default, the jquery and jquery-migrate scripts are excluded in the plugin interface, but you can remove them if you think that your site will work properly when they are loaded asynchronously.

    I’ve reactivated but similar problems are persisting on mobile with perpetually loading on search and category pages: https://www.bestofbristol.co/category/coffee/

    Another huge problem i’m finding is that my images aren’t loading on mobile as well. Have you got any idea how to sort that one out?

    Cache is cleared on my phone, and it’s users who have alerted me to this aspect.Can see the logo isn’t loading and an article i posted on social media every single image hasn’t loaded?

    I don’t think the issues you have are related to our plugin.

    Even with disabled SG Optimizer, the images are not loading on mobile.
