I couldn’t even log in. Disabled all plugins, re-enabled one by one, and Yendif broke the login.

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object in /home1/perrad12/public_html/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 358

Yendif disabled via FTP, and now it works.

This was after the 4.0.1 update with your update the same day. I couldn’t log in.

I’m not sure what you mean by my site details, but I’m not letting you log into my admin area. The plugin has been removed so I could log in to the site. I don’t know what you mean by “when we released our 2.0 version last day.”

    2.1 is what broke.

But, we don’t get any issues with the latest version in our website. I doubt there is a conflict with certain templates. Kindly let me know what template do you use. We will do the possibilities very soon.

Just had the same problem. Upon updating the Yendif plugin, my site crashed immediately giving me the “Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object” error.

Used ftp to change name of Yendif plugin folder to get site back online.

To be honest, I’m struggling to recreate this issue in my server. I have tried all the combinations you’ve suggested and the plugin works fine for me here. Can anyone help sharing your site details to admin@yendifplayer.com ? So, I can check what causes this issue.

    Kindly help me !!!

I don’t know what to tell you. Client is on shared hosting at HostGator, but from what I’ve been reading, this latest point update of WP has broken a lot of sites. A lot of it has to do with the shortcode that doesn’t meet WP’s standards anymore. Since I’m not a plugin developer, I don’t know ANYTHING about your plugin code, so I’m not criticizing at all. I may have to look for an alternative to your plugin. I just can’t spend a lot of time futzing with it. I know your player is on one other site I did that I no longer manage. I don’t know how that’s going. You haven’t indicated what kind of site details you want. I’m not giving login capability to the site.

Finally, I was able to recreate this issue. I have just released our 2.2 version with the fix. Hope, you all love it 🙂
