Latest update has frozen wordfence on my site

    Now I need to remove ALL of wordfence or replace the previous version. I’d rathe have the previous version. I’ve tried removing the plugin and deleting the plugin in the admin window and/or renaming the wordfence folder in the wordpress installation on the server to “-disabled” and reinstalling. That did not restore a working wordfence. If i cannot get the previous version, how do i remove ALL of wordfence?

    Hope you fix it. I have the same comments as mountainguy2 too.

    Whoever reminded me about backups, thank you. The shock of Wordfence not working was traumatic and upsetting. I was beside myself with grief.
    Restored Monday’s backup and now i’ll wait until a new update is in place AND working without all the errors reported in this forum.

    The latest WF update installed on about a dozen of my client’s sites without any difficulties or problems, so this is not a common issue…
