Title: Latest update does not work Last modified: August 19, 2016 --- # Latest update does not work * [markpea](https://wordpress.org/support/users/markpea/) * (@markpea) * [15 years, 1 month ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/latest-update-does-not-work/) * WP 3.1.2, BP 1.2.8 in multi-site (network) mode. I am using the [recently updated version](http://wpmu.org/buddypress-sliding-login-panel-plugin-gets-a-quick-update/) and have placed the BP_DISABLE_ADMIN_BAR directive in the wp-config.php. I’m using a theme called BuddyBass which I like. The Login tab does not appear and, what is stranger, when I login as the super-admin the BP admin bar appears and when I login as a user (in a different browser) the WordPress admin bar appears. I tried applying the [helpful hint in forums](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-buddypress-sliding-login-panel-not-working-any-ideas?replies=6) which was to add: * ``` 52 id="bp-default"> 53 ``` * But this also made no difference. Pity, cos this plugin looks really slick!
