Support » Plugin: WP Latest Posts » Latest update broke the design, could not be solved

  • Have the pro version of this plugin that I have paid for. Was working fine until the most recent update after which the design was messed up (essentially, it added a line break so the posts could not be lined up horizontally).

After a couple of weeks of going back and forth with the support nothing came out of it and the issue could not be resolved. They were asking me to “clone” my site and to give them admin access. First of, I don’t have time or knowledge to clone my site and are not going to mess with things I dont have knowledge about. My site is my bread and butter. Also, I’m not going to give people I dont know admin access.

So yeah, I just had to accept that they could not fix this simple line break issue. Even sent them a copy of my template plus they used inspect tool on my site. Still, could not resolve it.

Very disappointed. Not going to get any more products from JoomUnited obviously.

    Hi,

Thanks for contacting us about your problem. We can fix 99% of the customers issues if we have either:
    – Full access to the website and files
    – A staging copy of the website where we have the issue

This is stated in our support policy. Plus this is problem related to the pro version of the plugin.

    Regards,

Yeah, so unless you want to give the keys to your home you’re screwed. Thanks, but no thanks.

@joomunited Why was this review tagged modlook?

    Hi,

I added the tag because he was continuing a commercial dispute we have on our Pro version of the plugin here, by dropping a review. And we can’t even assist him with the problem.

I think that’s not fair for our support team, maybe I’m wrong, but that’s it.

    Thanks.

Incorrectly too. You invited that when you put this plugin here and up sell. Though your plugin page is probably the most clear that I’ve seen for delineating the free from not-free. Thank you for that.

To prevent this from going on I am closing this review from further comments. Someone made a purchase and left feedback about that. You replied. The End.
