The latest update breaks some pages on my site, the first paragraph/below the title is cut-off

I have taken a screenshot you can view here http://tinyurl.com/sjer3pq
As you can see the top of the 1st paragraph is cut off

    Here’s another example: http://tinyurl.com/u8lbqb3

When I disable easy table of contents the site is no longer broken, but obviously keen to keep it enabled!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I have now reinstalled the old plugin and it’s working OK again

Which version exactly is the old version you have installed? I asked because 1.7 is the old version which has been the released stable version for many years now. The newest version is 2.0 which has had small “mini” releases consisting of versions rc1-rc8 allowing only a small number of upgrade before rolling back to version 1.7.

Just wanted to chime in and say the RC version of the update “broke” my site, too. Installing v1.7.1. fixed it, thankfully. I just finished going through a hosting migration so I thought the restoration was at fault. I’ve been sweating bullets for the last hour trying to find the broken code. I guess I feel a little better now knowing it isn’t anything worse than an unlucky buggy update.

I definitely thank you and appreciate the update! Nonetheless, fingers crossed this can get solved soon.

Hi Steven it was Version: 2.0-rc3 that I installed previously, thank you

Thanks for the follow up! Version 2.0-rc3 is actually a bit old now. Version 2.0-rc7 likely solves the issue you expired. The current release candidate version is 2.0-rc10. Here’s the link if you would like to give it a try:

If you have the time, I would suggest giving it a try before the general release of 2.0 so if there is still a regression it can be addressed.

The newest release candidate is now 2.0-rc11. If you have the time, I would suggest giving it a try before the general release of 2.0 so if there is still a regression it can be addressed.
