Latest update break my functions.php

I used this code in my theme functions.php
```
if (is_handheld()) {
    wp_enqueue_style('handheld', get_template_directory_uri() . '../../mobile.css');

}
```
but now with the latest update i get “Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_handheld() in /web/htdocs/…/…/…/…/…/functions.php on line 44”

until the update it loaded the request css only on tablet and phone as expected…

Testing this on my local machine and it all works fine.

It sounds like your update may have failed. Try installing the plugin manually and see if that fixes it. Also check the plugin is still active.

Ehm… feelin’ kinda dumb.
Probably the plugin got disabled during the update…
Never happen before.
Everything runs smooth now!

@carasmo This code seems overly complex to me. You could use the function: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_plugin_active to check if a plugin is active. Or check for use function_exists:
```
if ( function_exists( 'is_mobile') ) { ...
```

As for why it is now broken, nothing has really changed. I would check the plugin has upgraded correctly and is still active

Yes, it was overkill but it that worked specifically for your plugin and not mobile-detect which has the same classes. I was able to show an alert to load and activate your plugin before making any settings on my admin page. The in_array is from Woocommerce’s docs. I will try the one on https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_plugin_active. Thanks!
