    After the latest update of Kadence, I experience problems with placing images.
    More specifically: I use the Generate Press theme in WP. On a website-page, I want to place a “Gallery (Adv)” from the Kadence blocks. Creating that works fine, but when I continue with publishing the website-page remains empty and it gives an error message. On other website-pages I have already used the Kadence-plugin and there it still works fine. So, I tried to copy a block from the still working pages to the new page, but that didn’t yield any results.

    1. Is this a known problem? Do others have this problem too?
    2. Is it Kadence that causes the problems, or could it be something else? Because I’m not that experienced…..
    3. How to fix it? Or, is there an equivalent alternative to place such a gallery of images?

    Glad you reached out to us about this.

    Similar to your other website, I don’t have this issue on mine when I activate the Generate Press theme and add a Gallery(Adv) block to a page.

    I have the latest WordPress version (6.9), Kadence Blocks plugin (3.5.29), and GeneratePress theme (3.3.1).

    Some troubleshooting steps that you could do are:

    1. While editing the page with the Gallery(Adv) block, check your browser console log to see if there are any errors. If you see some, take a screenshot and send it to us here.
    2. Temporarily deactivate other plugins to see if one of the is causing the issue: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/temporarily-deactivating-plugins/

    Hi,

    Many thanks for your reply. Since I’m not at home at the moment, I will try your solution in two weeks time. I will let you know if it works. It will be Christmas by then …..

    Hi,
    Finally home, I used your solutions, i.e. the installation of the plugin ‘Health Check & Troubleshooting’. It shows that the plugin GPX Viewer which I use on my website causes the problems for using Kadence Blocks. So, on their forum I asked them to make GPX Viewer compatible again with WP 9.6 and Kadence Blocks. Hopefully they will respond……

    Well, I’m waiting for some action from the makers of the plugin GPS-viewer. It still doesn’t work as it should. So, it’s not resolved but that is not your fault.
