    The option “latest” does not show the latest products. Currently we do not know, on what “latest” is based on. No matter what we choose (date, ID), the slider still shows old products (caches are cleared).

    Solved. Another plugin (post type order) destroyed the functionality of the slider. We have deactivated this other plugin, now we have the latest products finally.
