Latest Posts Now Showing Up on Homepage (Do not Want)

    Our website has suddenly started displaying all of our News and Events posts on the main page and I cannot find where to remove. Normally, we have a Featured Articles Lite slideshow that shows a compact version of latest events and news.

    Nobody has touched the website or made any updates to plugins, and everything was fine last week. This occurred while I was traveling and nobody else with access had logged in; therefore, I am wondering if this is an error.

    Anyway, if somebody can walk me through how to remove the latest posts from being displayed on our homepage (I know how to put the sliders back), I would be EXTREMELY grateful. It is quite irritating considering this randomly has happened and our website now does not look very professional as a result.

    You’ve probably already done this, but I would first check Settings > Reading to make sure your preference for the home page haven’t somehow changed. Otherwise I would ask about this in the support forum for the FAL plugin to see if they have any ideas for you. (There is a mention of incompatibility issues for recent versions but you haven’t made any changes, so that may not pertain.)

    You might also try disabling all plugins to see if it’s indeed a plugin issue. Good luck.
