 * Hi there,
 * I am using the “latest blog post” feature on my homepage and would like to make
   the post excerpts smaller and be in 3 columns instead of 2.
 * I have succeeded by editing this code, but now when you shrink the browser or
   view on a mobile, the content is too small.
 * .col-md-6, .span6, .col2-set .col-1, .col2-set .col-2 {
    width: 33%; }
 * Thoughts on a different way about going about this or a way for the content to
   not shrink so much on a smaller window/mobile?
 * Live version of it running here: [http://www.brz-club.com](http://www.brz-club.com)
 * Thanks! 🙂

 * Yeah you shouldn’t edit framework css, that would cause issues throughout the
   theme. You should only edit those classes with specific calls so they don’t effect
   other places. So this should do the trick for you:
 *     ```
       @media (min-width: 992px) {
       .home_blog .col-md-6.home-sidebar {width: 33.33%; float:left;}
       }
       @media (min-width: 768px) {
       .home_blog .col-md-6.home-sidebar {width: 50%; float:left}
       }
       ```
 * Awesome! The top code worked like a charm!
 * Maybe you can help with this now?
 * The images in the post excerpts are full size. Is there a way to reference a
   smaller image to improve load times without uploading all new thumbnails?
 * Thanks!
 * From the looks of it you are using a plugin to handle images, It’s all up to
   you but if you use the default it will automatically resize images for the area
   needed.
 * Sorry for the late reply. That plugin is only working for archived posts and
   it changes to the appropriate size. The images on the homepage however are not
   affected. Any other thoughts on reducing the actual size of the image so it doesn’t
   reference the full res. and slow down load times?
 * Thanks!!
