• Hi. I am using Latest post widget by jetpack. Everything’s working fine but the widget title shows the blog name along with latest post. like Latest Post:theaviationblog. I want to remove the name of the blog and just Latest Post. How can I do it? Sorry If this is a very basic question 🙂

    Hi,

Not a basic question at all :-). That isn’t possible with Jetpack—we’d like to ensure that the other site is credited when displayed.

    Cheers!

There’s probably a better solution than the Jetpack widget. WordPress’ Recent Posts widget, for example.

The Jetpack widget requests information from the WordPress.com server (as a go-between for your site and the widget’s requested site), which means the Jetpack widget would be starting on your server, pulling information from our server, that was pulled previously from your server, instead of simply pulling information directly from your own server.
