Camu, I read your comment here

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-ajaxphp-loading-time

about preventing admin-ajax by setting Javascript Mode to NO

    done

but when it came to setting Track Browser Capabilities under Advanced, the closest option to browser capabilities I could find were
“Detect if your visitors’ browsers support anti-aliasing (font smoothing). This option required Spy Mode to be enabled.”

and the one directly below it. Setting both to NO did not stop the admin-ajax calls which are increasing my load times.

What are the most current settings to stop WP SlimStat from using admin-ajax.php called, and where are those settings located?

    Thanks.

That setting was removed a while ago. It’s currently not possible to do that, also because it would impact the data collected by the plugin. Please note that per WP’s Codex, admin-ajax.php should be always accessible to everyone.

saintandrews, what you can do to prevent SlimStat from using admin-ajax at all is to set Tracking Mode to “server side” and Spy Mode to “no”. This however will also disable the tracking of screen resolutions and other client-side information.
