  • Thank you for posting this! I was pulling my hair out trying to fix Event Calendar, and I ended up having to disable NextGEN for it to work. But now with changing that line of code, they both work without conflict.

I’m having the same problem. Commenting out that line didn’t fix it, though. Since the update also screwed up the formatting of my thumbnails, I think I’m going to just roll back for now.

Even with the newest Version 2.0.17 , when activated, NextGen Gallery bugs Ajax Event Calendar ( impossible to add or modify an event ). So i have to inactivate NextGen … to get Ajax Event Calendar working well.

Yeah I am moving away from nextgen altogether, what is on that line you are commenting out cause line 217 on mine no longer has anything to comment out except the end of another comment…

It seems as if I have the same problem after updating NextGen. Which line is it exactly that I have to comment out? Can you tell me the content of it? Because my line 217 contains only a “}”… Thanks!

    Same issue here.

I guess it is not the “}” we need to remove for fixing the issue 😉

I am actively moving away from NextGen, My problem was taken care of by removing the plugin and using the built-in WordPress stuff which has gotten a lot better. I feel relieved now that I don’t have to worry about it on the one website, now I have about 5 others to go.

I think the last update that just came out for nextgen corrected the issue, at least on one of my sites. I worked it out of the others so I don’t have another one to verify…
