    Hello joshuairi,

    Does your picture has proper guid in the database?

    I too am having an issue. Using WP 3.8.1 and version 3.0.0 of the Dynamic Featured Image Plugin.

    Plugin installed fine. When I click to add a second featured image, it brings up the media library, I select an image and hit Set Featured Image. When the modal closes I can see the image preview in the meta box. But when I hit Update on my post, it disappears.

    I may add that I am using it on a Custom Post Type.

    I also disabled all plugins and it still happened. Cache has been cleared and there are no errors in Chrome Dev Tools.

    Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated!

    I have the same issue. Clean install of wordpress 3.8.1 and Dynamic Featured Image 3.0.0.

    I did not use it on a custom post type

    Same issue here when setting an image with v3 of the plugin. The value of the image isn’t getting passed through:

    <input type="hidden" name="dfiFeatured[]" value="/wp-contentundefined,/wp-contentundefined" class="dfiImageHolder">

    No console or debug errors.

    I’m thinking out loud here, but I’m using a custom directory for my uploads (e.g. /assets) instead of the default /wp-content/uploads.

    Anyone else experiencing this issue doing the same? I have a hunch this is related.

    Confirming that changing back to /wp-content/uploads fixed this issue for me.

    @dryan1144 I am using the uploads directory but have the same error. I thought I’d try to set the directory rights but that did not help.

    I CAN upload NEW files though and than I can set those as a featured image. Than the plugin “remembers / sees” the featured images.

    As opposed to existing images (which came along after moving the site to another domain) are not “remembered” by the plugin. I cannot set those as featured image.

    Hope this helps in debugging.
