Latest Blog Post not showing the ‘Read-more’ Text:

    I’ve only just installed Advanced Excerpt. The site already had all custom excerpts, but I tried it on just one post and it didn’t show “…[more]” as I had indicated.

    Could it be down to the theme? I’m using the Genesis Theme framework from Studio Press. There are theme settings which say if you use post content (with a limit) or excerpt. Advance Excerpt seems to have control (apart from what’s noted above) if I select custom excerpt. If I select post content, then Advance Excerpt isn’t working at all.
