Support » Plugin: Essential Addons for Elementor » Latest 3.5.2 prevents shortcodes from showing on site

    I use the Elementor shortcode widget to show an event calendar on a page. After the latest update (3.5.2) the calendar no longer shows on the live page. It still shows on the editing side.

    I tried to use shortcode in an HTML element and a text element and same results.

    I did regenerate assets and files in your plugin, and Elementor as well as cleared all caches (browser/server/plugin). And I tried on mobile and desktop on Firefox and Chrome. Same results.

    I deactivated all plugins and the only way to get the shortcode to work was to deactivate your Essential Add-Ons plugin. Re-activating it broke the shortcode again. I rolled back to the 3.5.1 version and everything works again.

    @vegasb2k,

    Hi, there. Well, I have just checked the Shortcodes from my end and they are working as expected. I tried after creating few templates and used them as shortcodes within the Text Editor and the Shortcode widget. They seem to be working as expected. Can you please tell me which plugin are you using for Event Calendar?

    For further queries, could you please contact us through here: support@wpdeveloper.net

    Thank you.

    It’s The Events Calendar Pro (Modern Tribe).
    Their shortcode works outside of Elementor (as an additional test I ran).
