Support » Plugin: The Events Calendar » Lastest Version Version 4.6.7 Crashing Website 500 Error

  • We have the latest version of WordPress and we are hosting on WP Engine.

The latest version of The Events Calendar crashes our website (white pages with 500 error)

We have tried deactivating all plugins and nothing works. We have the memory set on the website to 512MB yet the plugin gives us a memory error.

The support (enterprise) team at WP Engine have determined this is the plugin.. from them:

But as for the calendar plugin, I’d take that phpfatal error to them and see what they have to say about the Template_Factory.php file causing a memory issue:

[Fri Dec 08 02:53:30.466940 2017] [:error] [pid 26926] [client 66.162.212.19:19417] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3072 bytes) in /nas/content/live/davidh/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Template_Factory.php on line 88

Especially since php memory limit is for sure set to 512MB

We have deactivated the plugin as it is breaking our website.

Can you please get back to us asap. Thank you.
