• I’ve updated the plugin this morning and (most of) my site crapped out with http 500 error/wsod.
All product detail pages, blog posts etc. were unreachable, and I couldn’t get into admin. Some quick renaming of plugin directories fixed that, but as soon as I tried activating this plugin the same happened all over again. Now it’s inactive, but I’d really like to have my brands back.
Any idea what’s causing this and if it can/will be fixed?

    Thanks,
    Damir

    Hi Damir

    Thank you for your feedback

Some users reported an error with latest update, caused by some files that weren’t correctly sent to SVN repository
This issue was fixed simply sending missing files, and users reported that they were able to solve it simply downloading again plugin package

Anyway, it seems that you’re reporting another kind of issue
Could you please enable debug over your installation and let me know exactly what kind of error code you get when you activate the plugin?

The only thing I see in the log file is:

[17-Jan-2018 09:13:05] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/karlstadlaserklinik.se/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-brands-add-on/plugin-fw/lib/yit-debug.php on line 237

It’s still the same, as soon as I activate the plugin all hell breaks loose and I have to rename the directory to deactivate the plugin. Then it’s all back to normal.
    Weird.
