 * Hi,
 * Any means to revert to previous version?
 * The last release seems full of bugs, only a small amount of my redirections (
   i got a lot amount) are redirected, the others are giving 404 since the update.
 * Thanks by advance.
 * regards.

 * How is it buggy? Can you give an example?

 * as i tried to explain, most of the redirections are not done giving 404 error.
 * example:
 * [http://www.mysite.com/quest-ce-qui-cloche-avec-cette-photo/](http://www.mysite.com/quest-ce-qui-cloche-avec-cette-photo/)
 * should redirect to /insolite/
 * regex redirection:
    URL source ^/quest-ce-qui-cloche-avec-cette-photo.* URL cible/
   insolite/
 * Everything worked fine before updating the plugin.
 * Note that ma redirection database contains more than 6000 redirections (i’ve
   made a lot of url deletion since few years)

 * Bug reports always need details to be useful. You said it was full of bugs, but
   only mentioned one thing – are there other issues?
 * I’ve just tried creating the same redirect as you mentioned above and it works
   fine. Are all your redirects regular expressions? What redirect does work and
   is that a regular expression?

 * 90% of my redirections are regex of that kind.
 * Some of them are still working as i can see in the journal, but lots don’t and
   i can’t figure out any difference between them.
 * example:
 * URL source ^/bulles-de-savon-gelees.*
    URL cible /insolite/
 * is working.
 * All of them were working previously, ie before the update.
 * I also noticed some troubleshooting with the interface, sometime falling in error
   while editing redirections. But this can be related to my plugin cache.
 * The disparition of the option to delete all 404 errors journal is probably intended,
   but it was useful

 * So you have over 3600 regular expressions? Ok, that is the problem. For now I
   would use the previous version ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/advanced/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/advanced/)).
   I suggest you also look at your redirects – that many regular expressions is
   extremely inefficient and I’m surprised your site works. I certainly did not
   anticipate anyone would have so many.

 * I don’t know what you mean by that, but you can still delete all 404s.

 * Yes i’m over 3600 regex. That’s bad i guess…
 * Thank you for your help!!

 * I’ll mark this as resolved. I will look at a way to handle this kind of situation
   in the next version so redirects don’t stop working, but I would try and reduce
   your regular expressions, or convert them to plain redirects.
