Last Update broke my site
-
I restored so my site wouldn’t be down, the issue remains at https://dev.manzwebdesigns.com
Hello @manzwebdesigns,
We have not received such requests after the latest release. Could you please try enabling the WordPress debug functionality as explained here:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
and provide us with the content of the debug.log located in the wp-content folder.
Alternatively, please check if there are php_errorlog files under the home folder of your WordPress site and look for any fatal errors recorded.
Done and there are no php_errorlog files

If you have enabled the debug mode on your site, please check for errors in the wp-content/debug.log file. It should provide you with a clue about what is causing the issue. You can provide some of the entries here as well.
I don’t see that file.
We have tested the new plugin update on a fresh WordPress installation and there were no issues. There are many other users that have upgraded the plugin without issues. I am afraid that without access to your logs I cannot investigate the error further. Most probably the issue is caused due to conflict with some other plugin/theme installed on your site.
You can contact the support of your hosting service so they can check the server logs for any errors recorded.
Hello @manzwebdesigns,
I can see that both websites are working as expected now.
Could you please share more information about the case, if there were any errors found in the system logs indicating the issue and how it was resolved.
In case there are any incompatibilities between the plugin and other hosting services or plugin we would like to investigate them further and assist.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Best Regards,
Elenahello

Good morning,
after updating the plugin , we received error messages on the front-end of the website, revealing sensitive php files. We had to remove the plugin. Can you please help.
Good morning,
After updating the plugin I got a server error 500.
This happened on the sites that are not hosted on Siteground.

Thank you all for the reports and for providing the errors received!
We have just released new version of the plugin including a fix for the reported issue.
Please update the SiteGround Optimizer plugin to version 7.2.8 and update us if the issue is resolved.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Best Regards,
ElenaThis site, too, is not hosted on SiteGround. I disabled all plugins except this one and the site still didn’t work. I ended up installing a different plugin. I will try reinstalling it back on the dev site and see if it works now.
The new version appears to have fixed the issue, thanks!
This latest version did not resolve the issue for me.
I still get the error “Call to undefined function apache_response_headers”.SiteGround Optimizer 7.2.8

Hello Denre,
Can you check if you have any outdated plugins or themes? If you do, please update them to their latest versions. Also, let us know which version of PHP is your site running on? You can also try to temporarily disable all plugins, leaving only our plugin enabled. If the errors are gone, you can then re-enable the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting one.
