Last post thumbnail appears at bottom of page
-
Hi,
I am having a problem with my blog site:
The oldest post thumbnail always appears at the bottom of the page like a sort of Footer. My site is: http://www.wildatartatelier.com
It would be great if someone could help me 🙂

I can’t experience a thumbnail on the footer http://awesomescreenshot.com/0a5s8p725 , is it on a particular page?
Yes sorry on the Blog page
I see.
If you un-publish the post with that thumbnail, does the issue persist? If yes, the thumbnail may be hard-coded into the template that page uses.If I unpublish the post the thumbnail of the next oldest appears at the bottom
Try disabling plugins to explore whether any could be responsible.
No unfortunatly nothing changed
Start by clearing up some markup errors, focus on the error messages that state unclosed elements.
Okey will do, thank you! Sorry I know this may be a very stupid question but I am new with wordpress. In which php. do I look for the codes or is it in the css??
I’m not sure, perhaps its
blog.php
(if that exists).
When you edit that Blog page in the dashboard, under Page Attributes (right), can you see which template file is being applied to that page? These aren’t stupid questions. Don’t let a presupposition that your questions are stupid to stop you from asking questions. The only stupid question is the one not asked.
Its bieng applied in the Default Template
i have no blog.php…
I think it’s then referring to this template file http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/twentyeleven/1.2/content.php
Can you use that link (above), copy all of its content and replace it over the content of your content.php file?
now it took all my thumbnails away and the image is still at the bottom: test.wildatartatelier.com (I am working on a test version for now to then transfer to the real one)
Okay, can you create a Child Theme through this 8-step-guide?
Then;
– Take a copy of your original (how it was before) content.php file and put it in your Child Theme directory.
– Look in that Child Theme content.php file and search for thoseunclosed
elements.what is the child theme for?
