• After importing a file of about 100 more members from a csv file, a success message never appeared, and now the last-name (required field) no longer shows up on the Admin List Participants, nor does it show as an available column for admin use on the Manage List Columns display. I’m stymied. It does show up on the page containing pdb_list.

    I just noticed that the email (required) field is also not showing.

    I’m sorry, I don’t have an explanation for what happened. Uploading a CSV won’t affect the field definitions.

    Most likely, the data is present. If you recreate the fields that are missing with the same name they had before, the data you uploaded will be used in those new fields.

    The data is definitely there when I export it. On the Manage Database Fields page I deleted and re-added the last-name field. However, it still does not show up on the List Columns page under the admin section. If there was a way to save all my settings, I would try re-installing the pdb plug-in.

    No need to reinstall, it won’t help.

    Give the Manage List Columns page a refresh and make sure it is not in the “available fields” section. Does it show up in the Public List Column Setup?

    FYI Today I had a pleasant surprise that the last name field was showing again; however still not the email address field. I don’t think I changed anything.

    So, was this also a field that you deleted then re-added?

    What you’re describing suggests there is a cache on your server, which can cause old information to be displayed…also it will sometimes suddenly show the current info when the cache is refreshed. If possible, it is best to have the cache disabled in the admin section.
