Would someone please have a look at this for me please? I am a little frustrated with what looks like the wasted space round my website itself. I do like to see the space but the GREY area is so huge.
Is there a reason for this?
If not, can I change it?
    How do I do this?
    My website: http://www.becomeadabhand.co.uk

I ma quite pleased with myself as I have done all this on my own so far 🙂

  • I always use my web browser in a window, not full screen, so I do not see much grey. Your website’s content area is 950 pixels wide when displayed on a large screen, and it adjusts for tablets and mobile phones. Most well designed websites are around this width. If it filled my 1920 pixels wide screen, I would find it difficult to read.

I thought that the idea of a responsive website was that it would adjust to the width of whatever was on the screen?
What I wanted was a set up very much like WORDPRESS EDITING where there are panels down either side, not for reading just more for reference. Then the main text in the middle of the screen. I don’t really mind it not being the ‘best’ but I could just use the space for other things.
I hope I’m not being too ambitious.

I really appreciate you responding to this, thank you.

    Kind regards
