Updated from 1.9.13 to 2.0.33. Using WP 3.7Although I was led to believe that the “legacy” shortcodes would still work, that was not the case. So I updated the shortcode on one page to the new format:
Until I added display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” to the shortcode, I saw only an error message: Gallery not found. Check your settings. Frustrating. If I try changing the display_type parameter to any of the other listed types, I get the gallery not found error again. Ah, well.
So, now the gallery is (finally) displaying again, but there is a huge space below the first page of the gallery, between the grid of thumbnails and the pagination buttons. On the subsequent pages, the space is above the grid of thumbnails. Examining the page source, it appears that NextGen is placing additional thumbnails in those locations (either the first few from the following page, or the last few from the preceding page) in that space, with display: set to none.
Why? And how do I fix it?
If this question has already been posted, I couldn’t find it…
