Large gap beneath heather on ipad/mobile

    Hi again Roman,

    Thanks for your help earlier. I’ve noticed that although the header image sits neatly when viewed on a laptop, when looking on an ipad or mobile there is a large white gap underneath, above the menu bar. Is there a way to reduce this gap?

    Also, can you see that there is an image icon sitting over the header? I think this is leftover from my other website which I copied and uploaded as a basis for this one. Only I can’t locate where the image is pulling through from and I need to delete it. Do you have any ideas?

    Hello Jen,

    1. It’s because the image itself has much space, please check it out:

    2. Try to remove Welcome logo in Customize → Welcome Area section.

    Hi Roman, regarding point 1 above, I have now uploaded a header 1920×1080 with the text filling the space – it looks perfect on mobile and iPad now but the menu squashes it on laptop view?

    Hello Jen,

    Try to configure Header max height at the bottom of Customize → Header Image section. Default value is 1440 for Header max height > 1199px
