large amount of cached js

In LSC > Page Settings > JS, all optimisations are turned on.

Our site site has 71 posts and 17 pages.

The folder /wp-content/litespeed/js/is 776MB in size.

Every js file in this folder is around 1MB in size.

The files are dated between 2023-04-29 and 2023-05-03, today, so 5 days.

Why would there by so many JS files?

BTW, the site is connected to quic.cloud’s CDN which is using 200MB of storage.

The 776MB is putting the site over the hosting’s disk quota.

Help appreciated.

It is not about the HTML content. It is about the Javascript you have to check.

The link you posted mentioned this:

View the page source in each window
Copy and paste each source into a diff checker site (such as https://www.diffchecker.com/) and compare.
You should see a few lines of CSS or JS highlighted.

There were no lines of CSS or JS highlighted in the HTML source code, only the comments I posted.

you could check 2 or 3 similar size files in that /wp-content/litespeed/js/ directory , and use some tool to do the compare

this usually happens because the inline JS being combined , and inline JS has per-page-random-string , each page will force a new set of combined JS files

Thanks @qtwrk, comparing 2 such files shows the difference is in the value of “et_ab_log_nonce”.

File #1 has “cad13a759a”, File #2 has “b3c95d0a89” for “et_ab_log_nonce”.

(the site uses Divi)

I’ve asked Divi support if there is a way to turn this logging off.

I’ll keep you posted.

Divi support said they couldn’t guarantee their theme worked with all plugins.

Are there any LSC settings I can adjust, perhaps disable CCSS Per URL?

I would suggest better to try disable JS Combine External and Inline

Thanks, I’ve made that change, cleared the CSS/JS cache, and will report back in 5 days time.

When I checked JS Combine External and Inline today it was on, so I’ve disabled it, and will come back in 5 days.
