# Language switcher options

 * I’ve sent a mail last week, but seems this thread gets answers faster.
 * Is it possible to have both flags with both the long and short names in the dropdown
   language switcher?
    The design we received has the flag and shortname in the 
   current language selection and on hover it shows the flags with the long names.
   So thinking it would be easier to just hide and show with css, but need all of
   them to show at first.

 * This customization that you are talking about isn’t something that can be done(
   even with CSS).
 * I have noted it down in a task for our development team regarding the Language
   Switcher, but I can’t give you a timeframe for when this will be added.
 * What I can say is that it’s not something that we plan to do in the near future
   as there are more important features that need to be implemented.
 * I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
