Language switcher in Navigation

    Hi!

    I’m using Polylang 1.6.5 and I set up two languages. Then I added the language switcher to the horizontal navigation. But in the navigation I just got one button per language, called “Language switcher”. Regardless of the polylang settings.

    The theme I’m using was created with Artisteer (I tried v3 and v4). With the standard WP themes I won’t even see the “Language switcher” buttons.

    I couldn’ find any solution on the internet so far, so I’m hoping someone could help me here.

    Hi!

    I am not surprised that the language switcher is not compatible with Artisteer. A long time ago, I looked at an Artisteer generated theme and nav menus were not generated in the standard WordPress way. That’s may be still be the case and thus conflict with Polylang.

    The language switcher in the nav menus is compatible with default themes and a lot of other themes (provided that they follow the standard WordPress way to make nav menus).
