Hi,
What theme are you using? Does the problem occur if you switch to default theme (like twentysixteen)? Does the problem occur if you disable all other plugins?
Cheers,
Česlav
Hi chesio, I’m using Jaqueline theme; the problem occurs also if I disable all the other plugins. No idea about other themes; the nav just disappear if I switch to another theme -maybe this can be another problem-
anyway, here’s the website if you’ve time to check: http://sinusroris.altervista.org/
thx !
This has recently started happening for me too. And now Google search console has identified this as an error:
Google has detected that some pages on your site have implemented the rel-alternate-hreflang tag incorrectly. In particular, there seems to be a problem with incorrect language and region codes, or incorrect bi-directional linking (if page A links with hreflang to page B, there must be a link back from B to A as well). Google uses the hreflang attributes to serve the correct language or regional URL to the right users in search results.
Until you correct the errors on the hreflang links, your website will not benefit from additional language or region targeting.
Hi danicalc and thx for the tip.
Unfortunately I’ve checked through the plugin’s settings but I couldn’t find where to check those incorrect tags.
Can you please be more specific? is this a menu problem or a plugin problem?
Sorry but I’m technically not so keen in this topic.
Well, don’t know exactly why, but I’ve just erased the selectors in one language menu (the one switching back to german anytime) and re-located them again in the menu structure -same position name, everything- and now everything’s working.
