# Language-specific search-forms

 * Hi, I am using Polylang 2.0.9 and Ajax Search Lite 4.6.6.
 * I have had great success using ASL for my site with only one language, but in
   order to localize the various data fields (e.g. the Placeholder text) it seems
   I would have to create specific hooks. Is this correct? Or is it possible to 
   customize these text strings for various languages through the Pro version?

 * Hi,
 * The lite version currently only supports WPML string translations to translate
   the dynamic fields. Polylang support is also planned for the upcoming release.
   There are no filters added, simply because I felt it would have been too much(
   performance wise) to apply filters and translation functions at the same time.
 * The pro version already supports Polylang string translations as well. But it
   is also possible to create multiple search instances to use it with each language.
