• I have a weird language problem. My site is in Dutch, but the events plugin only partly translates the website. Like: Upcoming events is translated to Upcoming evenementen and it should be Toekomstige evenementen. It doesn’t translate the word Upcoming

I checked the .PO files and there the translations are correct. I tried to change my language to English and back to Dutch, but this does not fix is (also reloaded the permalinks). Im trying to overwrite the .PO file by placing it in my languages > plugins > tribe-events-calendar-nl_NL.po (& .mo) folder, but this also doesn’t fix it.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Some pieces of text are composed in new ways and so it may seem as if they are translated in the .po file – but are not. What you might be interested in however are the latest translations listed over here:

    translations.theeventscalendar.com

Remember the .mo file itself must be overwritten/replaced when making this sort of change (rather than the .po file – though it’s sensible to keep both in sync).
