Language overrides using Polylang plug-in

Hi everybody,

How would you use the language overrides on a per page basis for multilingual sites with the Polylang plug-in? Specifically, in which PHP file would you adapt the this.language variable? I usually work with the WordPress web interface editor.

a code snippet I found here, could this be of any use and where would I place it?
