# Language issue

 * Hi,
 * after successfully installing the German version of 2.6.5, I upgraded to 2.7,
   and although it _is_ the German version (DE), I am getting a mix-up of German
   and English (mostly) in the interface. The time format is English, either. How
   can I have _everything_ in German? I didn’t find an option so far to change the
   language, although I browsed through various related threads in this forum.

 * After performing an upgrade via “tools > upgrade” (sidebar on the left hand side),
   I have the German version back! 😉 You have to click on the link at the top, 
   where it says
 * “You have the latest version of WordPress. You do not need to upgrade. However,
   if you want to re-install version 2.7–de_DE, you can do so automatically or download
   the package and re-install manually”
