Language issue with Get Parameter plugin

    Dear all,

    I did install the Get Parameter plugin as like some other people, I got some “Log Out” concerns leading me to “404 Error” pages.

    With that plugin it is solved.

    But I’m using BuddyPress.

    PLEASE NOTE FIRST that this is perfectly working for NONE admin users.
    I only have below issues with admin users.

    So when I access in English (default language) the BuddyPress Dashboard, it is OK.

    But then, if I change the language to French (the used link is https://mysite.com/members/userid/overview/?lang=fr) then it gets back to the Homepage as if I was logged out! But if I refresh the page, I’m logging in again… but still on homepage.

    So I logged out and tried something else…

    – If I log in English, then chose French… then click on the Overview link for BuddyPress (the used link is https://mysite.com/?lang=fr/members/user/overview/) bringing me back to the homepage again.

    So here the “?lang=fr” is not located at teh same place in the link.

    Another test

    – If I’m login in French, then I get to the homepage correctly logged but in English. If I change the language to French, it goes back to homepage, but then like if I was logged out. If I refresh the page, I’m then logged in.

    Any idea?

    Hi,

    So, these issues appear with Get Parameter plugin installed?
    This one is recommended to be used for users that have a strong reason to not use pretty permalinks, which I believe is not your case also. If so, please, disable the addon, and can you confirm the issue is still happening?
