Language does not switch from default to Secondary with Update 2.6.7 and WP 5.3

Hello,

I have created the wpml-config.xml file with relevant field IDs of a plugin’s field options (saved in its root directory) in the form of:

<admin-texts>
<key name=”my_plugins_options”>
<key name=”option_name_1″ />
<key name=”option_name_2″ />

</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

After update of Polylang to 2.6.7 and WP to 5.3 some field options of the aforementioned plugin display the default language (Greek) on the English version of the site.

pll_language cookie switches according to language between the two versions of the site. No problem with that.

I have deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin and nginx cache.

When I test polylang 2.6.6 with WP 5.2.4 > Issue does not occur
When I test polylang 2.6.6 with WP 5.3 > Issue occurs
When I test polylang 2.6.7 with WP 5.3 > Issue occurs

Issue occurs only on Chrome, and not on Firefox!
I have contacted support of the plugin to which the issue occurs, it is checked, the issue does not come from it.

Is this a polylang cache issue occuring with WP 5.3?
Could you please provide an advice regarding this issue?
