 * is there any way to submit the language code to mailchimp via the set_locale 
   funktion in wordpress ? or how can i edit the language code which is shown on
   the mailchimp profile page after the customers subscribing with an order ? thank
   you

   responding – but can you please confirm the plugin version you’re using currently?
   As of today – the current version is 2.4.5 which does have support for locale
   and should be passing that over to Mailchimp for you at the “customer” and “member”
   level.
