 * TL;DR: How can I force the plugin to be “English only”?
 * After the last update, the plugin language changed automatically to Spanish and
   I don’t find any option to switch the language back to English.
 * We run a bilingual site and I prefer having everything in English. Additionally,
   the quality of the Spanish translation is sort of mediocre (sorry!) as it is
   currently a mix of English and Spanish.

 * Hello [@dexterti](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dexterti/)
 * Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
    The plugin
   language changes depending on the language you are using. You can try changing
   the user language in your wp-admin Users>Your Profile>languages, or change the
   site language. Also please check this [information](https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/262600/how-can-i-uninstall-a-language)
   that may be helpful. Thanks!

 * Hi Marko,
 * thanks for the quick answer. Unfortunatly changing the wp-admin user language
   didn’t help as it was already set to “English”.
 * What did help was deleting the _w3-total-cache-es\_ES.mo_ and _w3-total-cache-
   es\_ES.po_ from the _wp-content/languages/plugins folder_.
 * Let’s hope that those files won’t reappear :).

 * Hi, I want to also report that the user back-end language is not honored by W3TC.
   The back-end language will be whatever the site front-end is set to. Please consider
   reverting this, a lot of site admins count on English to do the maintenance of
   many different language sites. Thank you!! W3TC is great!
