Hello archfabricationandmachine,
Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.
I understand how frustrating it must be to experience delays when purchasing shipping labels.
To help us pinpoint the issue, could you clarify if this delay occurs with all orders or only certain ones? Additionally, was everything working fine previously when you initially set up the WooCommerce Shipping plugin?
It would also be helpful if you could check the WooCommerce error log (found under WooCommerce > Status > Logs) for any relevant error messages that might give us more insight.
Let us know what you find, and we’ll assist you further!
Best regards.
I am having the same issue. I get the same screen showing that the label is being processed. And it HANGS there. There are no error messages in the WooCommerce error log.
Much like the OP’s experience, my label was ready for printing took almost twenty minutes to become available.
Hello, I’m relatively low volume so this is only the second order i have shipped using this plugin since installing it. A lot of my sales are through Ebay, and i use Ebay to generate those labels.
Logging is disabled from installation, so there was nothing there, however i did turn it on, and upon creating another label, there was still nothing there of value.
I’ve uninstalled the plugin since as the original way to create labels in woocommerce works fine for my application.
I believe, it may be a cache error, as i saw someone say they cleared their website cache and the label became available immediately after. I cleared my website cache in the Litespeed plugin, and the label became available.
I don’t have time to diagnose this at this time, so i chose to uninstall for now.
I, too, use the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. Good observation. Thanks!
Hello @archfabricationandmachine,
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.
We’ve just released version 1.2.0, which specifically addresses caching problems. I recommend updating to the latest version and checking if the issue persists. Please let us know if the problem still occurs after the update.
Since a fix was released a while back and there haven’t been any new comments, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. If this issue occurs while using the latest version of the WooCommerce Shipping plugin, please create a new forum post and let us know. Thanks!
