    Hello,

    SSL is a need if you are using custom checkout or tickets, because it is your server that processes the payment with sensitive data. So, it became a security standard.

    In standard checkout, SSL is not necessary.

    In relation to IPN, its not necessary to configure https://www.mercadopago.com.ar/ipn-notifications nor https://www.mercadopago.com/mla/account/webhooks. IPN is already implemented in the module, and all you need is to download/install. To verify the updates, you should use a public domain or a virtual one. To test it, you can publish your server via some kind of tunneling (here, we use ngrok, openshift, or docker). In resume, your server can’t be localhost.

    But now my orders are not changed from “waiting” to “processing” anymore. Payments arrive, and orders still are “waiting”. I have to manually process them.

    Yes Gasto! we have the same problem.

    We have all plugins update, our php is 5.6.23. and status woocommerce appears ok.

    Why this plugin works fine before? i suppose that something in wordpress 4.5.3 happened, it not depends on our hosting.

    In fact, IPN is somewhat instable in these last 2~3 weeks. Looks like its a API/platform issue, not the modules, as this problem seems to be appeared in several products. We’re already working to check/fix this issue.

    Please let us know when you can fix this.

    It seems to be working now.

    But on my mercadopago account, on the approved operations, instead of having the product which the customer bought, it says “¡Gratis!”. It should be for example “Blue T-Shirt”.

    Hi there guys,

    Does this problem still happens? IPN is a real black-box sometimes, as it is very hard to figure out where the problem is. As far as this plugin was tested, the IPN is working fine. For basic checkout, custom checkout, and ticket, it is not needed to configure anything. In subscriptions, its needed to configure the IPN URL in your Mercado Pago account page.

    IPN can fail by a several number of reasons, such as instabilities in Mercado Pago platform (the API services, not the plugin), incompatibilities with WooCommerce and/or WordPress, network issues, and many others.

    Yes, still happening:
    La URL ingresada no responde un HTTP status correcto. Debe responder 200 o 201.

    I configure it as http://www.mydomain.com.ar/wc-api/WC_WooMercadoPago_Gateway/
    And it’s not working.

    Could be something to do with CloudFlare and Mercadopago. But I whitelisted the IP’s of mercadopago: 216.33.197.110 and 216.33.197.71, and it’s still not working.

    Any help please.
