Kubrick Kubroke

  • Okay. I’m greener than new grass at this. I installed WP without incident. The first time I logged into the admin page, it looked fine. Selected “View Site,” and saw the basic Kubrick template. I logged out.

I returned to the admin site later that day, and saw this.

When I select “View Site,” I get this.

Using latest Firefox to view. And I promise you, I touched NOTHING. I’m too WP/CSS/PHP illiterate to even try. And kindly remember that in your replies.

    Thanks in advance…

since you _almost_ provided a link to the WordPress install, how bout taking the full leap please — instead of an image lets see the real thing.

    Where’s the blog.

Blog is here. For now, at least.

Thanks in advance for the help…

And I promise you, I touched NOTHING.

    That’s never true!
You did touch one or both URI values in the admin > Options General.
Don’t put “fantasy” values there. They should point to the real location of your WP install!

I don’t understand what you mean. The real location? As opposed to the folder in which I installed it?

in your admin panel go to options > general tab and make sure the following values are set.

    wordpress address should be: http://www.theninthhouse.net/tnh
    blog address should be: http://www.theninthhouse.net/tnh

Charle97, thanks for the explainer. Moshu, I now understand what you mean. Told you I was green(!).

    Problem solved. Thanks again, all.
