Konqueror borks ajax category adding

  • Konqueror’s javascript engine (KJS) skimps on the creation of the value attribute for the newCheck input checkbox in cat-js.php’s output. As a result, saving the post with the new checkbox selected tries inserting ‘on’ as the id number. This generates a mysql error, and the post does not get categories assigned, although it does get posted. I fixed my install by replacing newCheck.value = id; with newCheck.setAttribute(‘value’,id);. I don’t have any idea why the value attribute can’t be changed this way, but you might want to get in touch with KDE’s developers about it.
