Koko not working with 3 color Admin Scheme in WordPress 5.5

    Hi, just discovered Koko (siteurl.tld/wp-admin/index.php?page=koko-analytics) won’t load if you have the new 3 Color “Modern” Admin Colour Scheme selected in WordPress 5.5.

    Error in console

    colors.js:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'substring' of undefined
    at Object.<anonymous> (colors.js:2)

    Hi @lapzor, just double checked to make sure this wasn’t something added by a theme or plugin — it seems to be part of the update to WP 5.5.

    If you go to your User Profile yoursite.tld/wp-admin/profile.php

    There is a section for “Admin Color Scheme” — the “Modern” theme only uses 3 colors, which I think is the cause of the problem as I am guessing Koko uses the forth color in all the other schemes?

    Hey @davinian,

    Thank you for the heads up. Looks like WordPress just introduced its first color scheme with less than 4 colors, yet we were using that 4th color.

    This will be fixed in the next plugin update. Thanks again!
