# Killing the "attachment" default…

 * When people upload images to a post they are offered the option to link the image
to its “attachment” page. 99% of the time this is a senseless thing to do as
it just creates an un-needed page to deal with. To make matters worse, if an
inexperienced writer does it once then every time thereafter the default behaviour
is to have a link to that attachment page for all subsequent images.
 * Is there any hack out there that can FORCE the option to always be “NONE” so
that I can stop my writers from accidentally linking images to useless pages?
