    Hello!

Much like that site, those tags are deprecated, outdated, or not required.

The “keywords” tag relied on hijacking Google’s and Bing’s ranking algorithm, which is no longer possible, and using this tag is strongly frowned upon.
The “author” tag relied on Google+, which recently closed, since April 2nd, 2019.

The “robots” tag directs search engines not to index your site, not to follow links on your site, or not to create a cached copy of your site, among other things. Having no “robots” tag implies that search engines are free to interpret and index your pages; which is what you want if you want your site to be listed well on search engines results pages. In any case, The SEO Framework has options for this, but you should only touch them if you really need to.

I hope this helps 🙂 Cheers!
