• Hi Everyone – perhaps support will see & reply.

2 or 3 times, my “token” expired, so teh Insta feed which worked great was replaced by RED ERROR messages on my site, making it look broken.

I don’t have the time or energy to have to constantly update tokens / re-give permissions, etc.

So yeah – it’s beautiful but I had to remove due to the headache factor.

If I am missing somthing – enlighten me and I’ll use the plug in.

    Thank you
    AR

    Hi AR,

We understand your frustration regarding the token expiration. The issue you’re experiencing is due to Instagram’s API, which is managed by Facebook. When you connect your Instagram account to our plugin, Facebook generates an access token that allows the plugin to fetch and display your feed. Unfortunately, due to privacy and security policies, this token expires periodically, and there is no way to prevent its expiration.

To keep your feed working, you need to refresh the token by simply removing and reconnecting your Instagram account in the plugin under the “Account” tab. We send email reminders before the token expires to help avoid any interruptions.

    Best regards, Quadlayers Support Team.

    Hey – big thank you!

I upped the review to 5 stars and changed the title, because yes I see – this is not your guys fault at all. Got it to refresh within about 10 mins of tinkering.

Big thank you – great support!
