    Hello everyone, we tried to get StellarPay up and running yesterday. We had high hopes for a smooth process as we are very happy with the StellarWP products.

    We went through the setup process via your plugin and the Stripe account was successfully created. Afterwards we received the error message “We were unable to connect your Stripe account. Please try again.”. Several attempts to set this up again were also unsuccessful.

    We then received the following error message and contacted support:

    Your account no longer has access to your StellarPay platform. However, they may have applied settings to your account, such as restricting your payout plan, which you want to reset. Switch your account to reset these settings. Contact StellarPay if you believe this was a mistake; your account has been removed from StellarPay, but some of the settings may still apply to your account, including those related to withdrawals. Complete the switch to manage these settings. Contact StellarPay at support@stellarwp.com if you would like to reconnect instead. Button: Switch account (unfortunately also without success).

    Unfortunately, the email to support came back.

    I would be delighted if there was a proper ticket system like the one you are used to. I question the sharing of customer-specific data here.

    We then tried WooPayments and it worked straight away. It would still be interesting to evaluate your product in the future.

    That email sounds like it’s coming from Stripe, and I have lots of questions about it.

    (I’m also digging into why they are recommending an email on our end that is not functional, which feels like a separate issue. Your post here is the first I’ve seen that particular email address.)

    We’ll handle this for sure, but you’re right that the public forum is not a great spot for it. (so I’ll mark this as resolved here in favor of actually resolving it via email).
