I have an idea of what may be causing this, and am working on a patch update to address it. One question that may help – have you changed the name of your generated “nestedpages” menu, either under the plugin settings, or under Appearance > Menus?

No I didn’t change the name. I didn’t even know there was a nestedpages menu until I saw this happening.
Once the error started to occur I tried deleting the name via plugin setting but it kept coming back.

I just updated to the latest version. Same problem with the menu I am afraid. Keeps appearing deactivation of the plugin
Sorry to hear you’re still having problems.
Try the following:
1. Deactivate the Plugin
2. Visit Appearance > Menus
3. Delete any menus that the plugin has generated, & reassign your menu locations
5. Reactivate the plugin. Visit the Pages screen, uncheck and check the sync checkbox
The menu “Nested Pages” will be added by default… that’s expected behavior. There isn’t anything in the plugin that enables theme locations or overwrites existing menus though.

Hi Kyle,
I tried the above, but unfortunately it’s still occurring. All I know is that it wasn’t happening 3 updates ago.
Currently if I activate the plugin a new menu appears in the WP Menu option. My main default menu remain active. Yet within 5 min the front end menu changes to the nestedpages menu. Back on the WP menu options my main menu is still activated.
If I delete the nested pages menu from the WP menu screen it comes back after a few minutes.
If I delete it and then deactivate the nestedpages plugin the menu comes back again. I then have to delete it again (with the plugin deactivated.) and it stays away.
Sorry I can’t be of more help. It’s a great plugin, I just don’t know what happened a few updates ago to change this. It might be theme related as I don’t see others writing here.
I will try on another site’s theme and see what happens.
